Word’s Format Painter tool copies formatting from one item to the other. Here’s how you can apply the formatting to multiple items.
Quick tip: On the Home tab, click the Format Painter button twice to apply formatting to multiple selections of text. Just remember to click on the Format Painter button (or press the Esc key) when you’re done. Works well with objects too.
Handy keyboard shortcuts: Selecting a line of text and pressing Ctrl+Shift+C copies text formatting but not the text wording itself. Ctrl+Shift+V pastes that formatting onto selected text.
