Every PowerPoint template uses a built-in Microsoft Office font scheme. We show you how to easily change the fonts in a PowerPoint template.

Every PowerPoint template uses a built-in Microsoft Office font scheme. To change the fonts:

  • On the Design tab, click the drop-down arrow button on the Variants group.

  • In the Variants menu, click the Fonts button to display the available font schemes. In this example, the applied fonts are Century Gothic and Palatino.

  • Click on another font scheme and the template text will reflect the newly applied fonts (Arial in this example).
